We’ve partnered with Franklin County Libraries to put on art show in celebration of Youth Arts Month!

How to Participate

Starting January 26th 2026 you can pick up a Tiny Art Show kit (limit 1 per person) at any Franklin County Library location. Your kit comes with a 4” canvas, two brushes and paint to get you started. Create your masterpiece, place it back in the bag and fill out form on the back of the sheet that the kit came with. It’s important to make sure the information is accurate as this will be transferred to a label for your artwork.

If your kit came to you from the Franklin County Public Schools arts class, all rules and requirements are the same

• This exhibition is open to all artists and community members regardless of age. (Adults can get in on the action too. Just pick up a kit, limit 1 per person, and return it to a library when done. We’ll have a separate display category for adults.)

• No piece may exceed 4 x 4 x 1” in size.

• Work must be original artwork available for the entire exhibit and not include any portion created by artificial intelligence programs.

• You are not required to use the paint/brushes in the kit or even the canvas. That’s just to get you started. Any medium is accepted as long as it meets size dimension requirements and can be hung for display. Contact ACFC if you have any questions.

• All submissions must contain appropriate subject matter.

• Franklin County Libraries and ACFC reserve the right to judgement for what is appropriate subject matter and the right to reject any work for not meeting any requirements.

Neither ACFC nor Franklin County Libraries will insure the artwork. Neither party is responsible for any work that is unidentifiable due to improper labeling. Due to the high volume of work there may be inconsistencies in labeling or information and the artist agrees to release all parties from any liability with these potential inconsistencies.

Fill out the form on the back of the sheet in the your bag. Make sure to check the age category. Artwork will be labeled with the information from this form so make sure its correct! Put the canvas back in the bag with the form and drop it off with a librarian at any Franklin County Library location between January 26th and March 12th, 2026.

On March 31st, 2026 the Youngsville library branch will host an art show at 6pm EST! Your piece will be displayed along size all other submissions
